Central control irrigation

The nervous system of a large irrigated property

Central control combines software, communications, field controllers, valves, sprinklers, pumps, weather data, and flow information into one coordinated system.

01

The brain

Central software manages schedules, weather adjustments, flow, station data, and operating priorities.

02

The communication network

Cable, two-wire, radio, cellular, or IP communication carries instructions between the central and the field.

03

The field hardware

Satellites, decoders, valves, sprinklers, pumps, and sensors perform the physical work of irrigation.

Hydraulic management

Coordinate flow and pressure so the system operates within pump and pipe capacity.

ET-based scheduling

Use weather and site data to replace water lost through evaporation and plant use.

Flow monitoring

Identify abnormal demand, leaks, breaks, or operating conditions before they become major losses.
